	The Hon'ble Justice Y. R. Meena Time Period:02-Jul-1990 to 05-Nov-2001 Former Judge	B.A., LL.B.- Born on 1st July, 1946. Enrolled as an Advocate in 1968. Appointed as a Law Officer in Law Commission of India, Deputy Legislative Counsel and then Additional Legislative Counsel in the Ministry of Law and Justice. Was a Judicial Member of Income-Tax Appellate Tribunal from 1980 to 1990. Elevated as Judge of the Rajasthan High Court in July, 1990. Transferred in December, 1997 to Calcutta High Court.

Designated as Senior Advocate from 13th August, 1991. Engaged as Public Prosecutor and Additional Public Prosecutor for 14 years in the High Court, and now appointed permanent Judge in the Calcutta High Court from 17th December, 1992.

Enrolled as an Advocate on 1st December, 1971 and practised in the Calcutta High Court and also in the Supreme Court of India in Constitutional, Service, Labour, Company, Education, Revenue Customs, Civil and Criminal matters. Appointed as permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 10th January, 1994. Transferred to Patna High Court on 4th April, 1994. Enrolled as an Advocate on 8th April, 1968 and practised for 15 years in Civil, Criminal and Revenue matters in Aska and Berhampur District. Entered the Judicial Service on 7th March, 1983. 	The Hon'ble Justice D. P. Kundu Time Period:27-Sep-1995 to 03-Oct-2003 Former Judge	B.Com., LL.B. - Born on 3rd October, 1941. Enrolled as an Advocate on 21st January, 1966 and was designated as Senior Advocate with effect from 2nd February, 1978. From 14th February, 1978 to August, 1998, ordinarily practised in the Gauhati High Court because from 14th February, 1978 for about 10 years, functioned as Advocate General, Tripura. Practised in the High Court in Civil, Constitutional and Criminal matters, Civil suits and Arbitration matters. Appointed as a permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 17th July, 1997. Assumed charge as the Acting Chief Justice on and from October, 5, 2012.
	The Hon'ble Justice. S. Roy Barman Time Period:03-Oct-1997 to 08-Apr-2003 Former Judge	Born on 28th January, 1945. Educated in Pathabhavan, School Section of Santiniketan, Visva Bharati University. Passed B.A. from Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Agartala. After graduation he did his LL.B. Course from University College of Law, Calcutta in 1974. Enrolled as an Advocate in 1975 under Bar Council of Assam etc. In that very year joined Gauhati High Court Bart at Agartala Bench. Conducted mainly criminal, writ and election cases. He was appointed Advocate General of Tripura in March, 1988. Appointed permanent Judge of Gauhati High Court on 14.11.1991. Upon transfer, he joined Calcutta High Court on 3.10.1997. He is due to retire on 28.1.2007.

Passed M.Com. and LL.B examination from Calcutta University and secured the second position in the LL.B. examination after having secured the first position in the LL.B. Intermediate examination. Joined West Bengal Civil Services (Judicial) on January, 2, 1967. Served as Member Secretary of Calcutta Legal Aid Committee, Government of West Bengal. Became a Member of West Bengal High Judicial Service in February, 1983. Was appointed Deistrict Judge, Birbhum. Was a Judge, City Civil And Sessions Court with special power under N.D.P.S. Act and TADA Act. Was Registrar of Calcutta High Court (Appellate Side) and Chief Judge, Small Cause Court. Elevated to the Bench of Calcutta High Court on 24th February, 1999.
	The Hon'ble Justice M. K. Basu Time Period:24-Feb-1999 to 25-Dec-2002 Former Judge	M.A., LL.B.- Born on 25th December, 1940. Competed in the W.B.C.S. (Judicial) Examination held by the State Public Service Commission in 1967 and joined the State Judicial Service on 2nd January, 1968 as a Munsif. Promoted as Subordinate Judge in 1977 and held different posts including Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate. Promoted to the Higher Judicial Service in 1983 and served as Additional District Judge in different stations. Appointed as District & Sessions Judge in 1992. Joined as Inspecting Judicial Officer, High Court, Calcutta in December, 1993 and appointed as Registrar, High Court, Calcutta in December, 1997. Elevated to the Bench and appointed permanent Judge in the High Court at Calcutta on & from 24th February, 1999. Due to retire on 25th December, 2002.
	The Hon'ble Justice D. P. Sengupta Time Period:24-Feb-1999 to 01-Apr-2010 Former Judge	B.A. (Honours in English) LL.B. Born on 1st April, 1948. Enrolled as an Advocate on 19.12.1974. Practised as an Advocate in Calcutta High Court since 1974. Worked in the State Panel since 1979 till elevation. Worked as an Advocate in the Senior Panel of the State of West Bengal for the last six years before elevation. Elevated to the Bench of Calcutta High Court on 24th February, 1999.
	The Hon'ble Justice A. Talukdar Time Period:24-Feb-1999 to 14-Jan-2012 Former Judge	M.A., LL.B.- Born on 14th January, 1950. Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court at Calcutta on December 22, 1979. Practised at the Calcutta High Court mainly in the Criminal Side. Was the Senior Central Government Advocate. Was also the Railway Advocate for the South-Eastern Railway. Appeared for the Central Bureau of Investigation in many important cases. Appointed as a permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on and from February 24, 1999.
	The Hon'ble Justice G. C. Dey Time Period:16-Sep-1999 to --- Former Judge	Born on 8th January,1943, passed the MA. Examination of the University of Calcutta in 1964, the LL.B. Examination of the same University in 1964 and got enrolled as an Advocate of the Calcutta High Court in 1965. In 1967 was selected by the Public Service Commission, West Bengal for both W.B.C.S. (Executive) and W.B.C.S (Judicial) Services, but accepted the W.B.C.S. (Judicial) and joined on 1.12.1967. Promoted to the West Bengal Higher Judicial Service on 29.07.1983. 	The Hon’ble Justice A. K. Mathur Time Period:22-Dec-1999 to 07-Jun-2004 Former Chief Justice	M.A., LL.B.- Born on 7th August, 1943. Enrolled as an Advocate of Rajasthan High Court on 20th October, 1967. Appointed as Assistant Government Advocate and Deputy Government Advocate on 2nd August, 1969 and Additional Government Advocate on 29th June, 1974 and Government Advocate at Jodhpur on 31st January, 1977. Appointed as Additional Advocate General in December, 1981, till elevation as a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court on 13th September, 1985. Also worked as Standing Counsel for Central Government and Standing Counsel for Western Railway, Northern Railway, National Insurance Corporation and Sales Tax Department, Government of Rajasthan. Was a part-time lecturer in the University of Jodhpur and has travelled to the United States of America, England, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. Appointed as Chairman of the Court of Inquiry in the Indian Airlines Boeing Crash in December, 1988, near Ahmedabad. 	The Hon'ble Justice Protik Prakash Banerjee Time Period:21-Sep-2017 to 03-Jul-2020 Former Additional Judge	Protik Prakash Banerjee, (born June 1, 1969) son of Late Mukul Prokash Banerjee, Senior Advocate and past Secretary of the Bar Association of the High Court at Calcutta, and the late Lekha Banerjee, Advocate, was educated at Calcutta Boys’ School and University College of Law, the University of Calcutta. Between 1984 and 1994 he compered Western Music on All India Radio Calcutta and Yuva Vani. He regularly wrote on matters unconnected with the law, between 1989 and 1994 in the Economic Times. Enrolled on January 25, 1995 he practised initially as an Advocate-on-Record on the Appellate Side of the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta and then as counsel in both the Original and Appellate Sides, in Civil, Constitutional Writ, Company, Labour, Commercial, Testamentary and Intestate jurisdictions, and reveled in trial law and arbitration, but had limited exposure in criminal matters and appeared only once in a revenue matter. His pleasure was drafting and appearing in cases representing the ostensibly weaker side. He was the first Advocate in India to have won a Judgment in favor of his client that an arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 is amenable to jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. While at the Bar, he wrote commentaries on several subjects, including the Bengal Excise Act, the Essential Commodities Act, the Original Side Rules and the Appellate Side Rules, which went into more than one edition. He was a guest lecturer at NUJS taking contract, company and drafting “clinic” classes and till elevation, used to write a blog on Lawoctopus, under the name “Protik Da”. He was retained as Junior, the Standing Counsel of the State of West Bengal from June 9, 2011 until the demitted office, declining the position of a Senior Government Advocate, on March 9, 2014. He was named a Member of the Governing Body of the Surendranath Law College (the oldest Law College in India, which was initially known as Ripon College) on December 8, 2009 and served till 2011. Interested in debate from school days, he continued the practice while at the Bar, and was awarded the Best Speaker Award twice in the Annual Debates of the Indian Law Institute by its West Bengal Unit, and was awarded the Most Outstanding Emerging Lawyer Award by the Indian Law Institute, West Bengal State Unit in 2009, the only occasion when it was awarded. Son of Late Justice Sohan Lal Saraf and Late Sulochana Saraf, educated at St. Xaviers Collegiate School, Calcutta and La Martinere School for Boys, Calcutta. In 1996, graduated from the B.A. LLB (Hons.) course from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. Had the opportunity of being the first NLSIU student to have undertaken a placement program with Mr. Dipankar Gupta, The Solicitor General of India, New Delhi. 	The Hon'ble Justice Thottathil B. Nair Radhakrishnan Time Period:04-Apr-2019 to 28-Apr-2021 Former Chief Justice	Hon'ble Mr. Justice Thottathil B. Nair Radhakrishnan Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan was sworn-in as permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 14th October, 2004. He is the son of late N. Bhaskaran Nair and late K. Parukutty Amma, both Advocates, who practised at Kollam. Born on 29th April, 1959, he had his early schooling in St. Joseph's Convent and Government Boys' High School, Kollam; Arya Central School, Thiruvananthapuram and secured ISC conferred by the University of Cambridge (Local Examination Syndicate), having studied in Trinity Lyceum, Kollam. After obtaining B.Sc. Degree in Zoology from University of Kerala as a student of the Fatima Matha National College, Kollam, he secured LL.B. Degree from Bangalore University having studied Law in K.G.F. Law College, Kolar Gold Fields. Enrolled on 11th December, 1983, he practised at Thiruvananthapuram as junior to Advocate late P. Ramakrishna Pillai and thereafter shifted to High Court of Kerala in 1988 as junior to Senior Advocate late P. Sukumaran Nayar. He dealt with cases in different branches of law, the areas of his prominent practice being Civil, Constitutional and Administrative Law. He was the Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court from 18.3.2017 to 6.7.2018. He was the Chancellor of the Hidayatullah National Law University, Naya Raipur, Chhattishgarh. He was sworn in as Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on 7.7.2018. He was the Chancellor of the National Academy for Legal Studies and Research (NALSR), University of Law, Hyderabad and the Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. He was the Patron-in-Chief of the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States Legal Services Authority. He was the Chief Patron of the A.P. Judicial Academy, Secunderabad. He was sworn-in as the Chief Justice of the High Court for the State of Telangana on 1.1.2019. He was the Patron-in-Chief of the Telangana State Legal Services Authority. He was the Chief Patron of the Telangana State Judicial Academy, Secunderabad. He continued to be the Chancellor of NALSR, University of Law, Hyderabad. He has sworn in as Chief Justice of the High Court at Calcutta on 04.04.2019.
	The Hon'ble Justice Rajesh Bindal Time Period:05-Jan-2021 to 10-Oct-2021 Former Chief Justice (Acting)	Justice Rajesh Bindal was born on 16th April, 1961 at Ambala City in the State of Haryana (India). He did LL.B. from Kurukshetra University in 1985 and joined profession in High Court of Punjab & Haryana in September 1985. He represented Chandigarh Administration before Central Administrative Tribunal for more than a decade till 2004. He represented Punjab & Haryana regions of Employees Provident Fund Organization before the High Court and Central Administrative Tribunal from 1992 till his elevation. He remained associated, on behalf of State of Haryana, in settlement of the dispute concerning Satluj Yamuna Water with State of Punjab before Hon’ble Eradi Tribunal and Hon’ble the Supreme Court. He represented Income-tax Department, Haryana region before the High Court. He was elevated as a Judge of High Court of Punjab & Haryana on March 22, 2006. He remained Chairman of the Committee constituted pursuant to Resolution No. 7 adopted in the Chief Justices’ Conference, 2016 for framing Draft Rules for Electronic Evidence and submitted his report to Hon’ble the Supreme Court in November 2018.
